Careers Information, Advice and Guidance

At President Kennedy School, we aim to ensure that our students are given the tools, skills and knowledge to not only achieve academic success, but also, to be prepared for the world of work, higher education or apprenticeships. We want to ensure that our students are fully prepared to achieve and progress to the next stage in their lives with confidence.

President Kennedy School is dedicated to providing a coherent and progressive programme of careers education which is informative, relevant and personalised. We are committed to providing impartial careers advice and guidance (CEIAG).

The careers education programme at President Kennedy School, from Year 7 to Post 16 aims to promote student aspirations and enables students to develop their careers knowledge, understanding and insight into the world of work.

The aim of the website is to provide parents and students access to a range of information which will enable students to make informed choices about their future learning and career pathways.

We are constantly looking to improve our provision and as an Academy; we use the compass tool to assess and improve our work towards the Gatsby Benchmarks of best practice and will continue to develop our CEIAG to help us meet all of the Gatsby Benchmarks by 2020.
