At President Kennedy School, everything we do is focused on ‘Building Brighter Futures’ for all of our students and the wider community. Our ethos of pride encourages students to achieve their very best in all aspects of school life, both in the classroom and beyond.
A crucial part of building brighter futures for our students is providing a high-quality educational experience delivered through an academic curriculum and an exceptional program of enriching experiences, all designed to develop and prepare students for the next stage of their journey in school and for living in the wider world.
Our aim is that all students are happy and confident learners, which enables them to achieve both academically and personally.
President Kennedy School has a good-sized auditorium with theatre-style seating, a bespoke dance studio, a drama studio, music practice rooms and a fully equipped recording studio.
Whether your passion is music, dance, vocal, drama or musical theatre, President Kennedy School has something to offer each and every student performer. We run a number of specialised performing arts clubs led by professional industry teachers and stage and a number of productions throughout the year.
Productions are created, rehearsed and performed by students under the guidance of the school Performing Arts staff, forming an important part of their education enrichment. The audiences are parents’, carers and the wider school community, who are invited to share in and celebrate students’ achievements.
Over the years, our students have staged a wide variety of productions, ranging from large scale musicals such as Legally Blonde and Six, to bespoke showcases and a dedicated Bridge (Year 7) annual production.
Some of our students continue Performing Arts as a career pathway and train at prestigious universities for the Arts.
President Kennedy School Performing Arts Alumni are currently starring in West End, UK and international touring shows, cruise ships, artists in recent movies, choreographers and more. Some of their credits include:
