GCSE Results Day - Students Achieve Top Grades

Students and staff at President Kennedy School are celebrating after an excellent set of results in this summer’s GCSE examinations.

President Kennedy School has seen standards rise across most academic subjects with Maths and Science in particular performing extremely well. Students have performed above national thresholds in key subjects such as English, Maths and Science.

There have also been some exceptional individual performances with a significant number of our students attaining grades equivalent to A/A* or above (grade 9) in all or nearly all of their subjects. This performance has been against a background significantly tougher exams.

Student Molly Wilson gained grade 9 in eight subjects and an A* in Further Maths, Amelia Bassnett achieved an A* in Further Maths, six 9s and two 8s and Amber Nazir secured four 9s and four 8s

This talented cohort of young people have made brilliant progress and these results provide an excellent start to sixth form studies, employment and brighter futures.

Head Mr Clayton adds -

“It’s been fantastic to see so many parents sharing the good news today and to be involved in the planning of the next chapter in their lives.

We look forward to welcoming the vast majority of our students back to Post 16 in September”
