50th Anniversary of President Kennedy's Assassination

This week marks the 50th anniversary of the assassination of President Kennedy. Our school was built just after the president’s death and at that time it was decided to change the school’s intended name (Holbrook High) and name it after him. Our history department have been leading assemblies and tutor time “talking points” focused on the life of President Kennedy. We encourage students to look objectively at the life of Kennedy whilst recognising the significant changes associated with the 1960s. Mr Finney, Leader of History, and A level history students, Tamana Gulati, Rebecca Kelleher and Natalie Cook,  are to feature in a radio interview on BBC Coventry & Warwickshire radio at approximately 8.45am on 22nd November.
