The Chicks Have Hatched At The Bridge!

The Bridge is celebrating three new arrivals this week, after a clutch of eggs that students have been nurturing in an incubator have started to come to life. The Bridge now boasts three feathery chicks, two yellow and one black, yet to be named, who are making themselves heard with some impressive tweeting!

Mrs Coward, who has pioneered nature education within the Bridge commented "excitement started building when the eggs started moving a couple of days ago. Tiny cracks appeared and the first chick emerged on Wednesday morning. Another followed later that day and another was waiting to greet us on Thursday morning, just in time to join us for our Gardening Celebration. This has been a wonderful spectacle for the students, who have totally fallen in love with them."
