Students Impress Business Leaders

As part of their Level 3 Business course , Post 16 BTEC students presented a comprehensive
business proposal to Julie Driscol, Local Business Manager and Robert Boland, Protection Advisor who work at Santander Bank in Coventry

Students each gave a 10 minute PowerPoint presentation which addressed all relevant aspects of starting up a small business. Students demonstrated considerable resilience
during the question and answer session with Santander Bank about  the feasibility of their business idea in the real world.

Santander were so impressed by the students business proposals (which ranged from running a 1950s style ice cream parlour to a retro record shop) that the bank has offered to give the students a work shadow placement in the February half term.
