School Council Sets Challenging Agenda

Following a period of campaigning and college elections, the newly elected School Council met for the first time on Thursday 16th October. Mr Clayton addressed our councillors and emphasized how important their work will be this year. The Council has decided to focus on what is happening in the classroom this year and in particular on how teaching and learning, rewards and sanctions and assessment may improve students’ experiences.

Post 16: (Chair person by rotation) First Chairperson Zylan Gahir, Vice Chair Shannon Black

Our School Councillors will be attending a whole day training session with the SSAT on Wednesday 5th November. We are all looking forward to the School Council making a real difference around school this year and wish them all the best.
