South Korean Schools To Learn Lessons From Our Teachers

A film crew from South Korea have spent time at the Gateway (our year 8 college) filming a lesson, so that the teaching techniques used here at President Kennedy School can be captured and shared with teachers in South Korean schools.

Organised by Curee (the Centre for the Use and Research in Education), the focus of the film is around teaching oracy and communication skills, all essential for raising attainment in literacy. South Korean education has an extremely high reputation around the world but it seems that they feel they can learn some valuable lessons from teachers at President Kennedy School. The crew filmed Mrs Bircher delivering a lesson to our year 8 students.
