Miss Howe Is Presented With A Classroom Hero Award
Congratulations to Miss Howe, one of our English teachers, who has been awarded a Free Radio Classroom Hero award this week.
Miss Howe was nominated by her Post 16 English students. They contacted Free Radio who have been streaming the award on their popular JD breakfast show. Their nomination read: “We would like to nominate Miss Howe because she spends all of her free time working on ways to make learning easy and fun for her students! She goes above and beyond to make sure we get the grades which we deserve! Amazing teacher.”
It is also understood that other members of the public also contacted the radio show to nominate Miss Howe.
Miss Howe was presented with her award by Mr Gavin O’Toole, Development Manager for the award’s sponsors, PET-Xi.
Miss Howe, who has taught English at President Kennedy School for five years, commented, “I have been absolutely overwhelmed by this amazing award! It is a privilege to work with such wonderful, down-to-earth pupils here at President Kennedy School. Thank you for taking the time to
nominate me for this award.”
