Lunchtime Concerts Hit The Right Note!

Budding instrumentalists and vocalists have been taking to the school stage to entertain fellow students in a series of informal lunchtime concerts.

The atmosphere was electric as over 300 students cheered each act on stage. Nerves soon disappeared as students from all year groups gave their generous support to those who had never performed before.

Leader of music, Mr Channer, commented, “Our lunchtime concerts are part of a wider programme to enable students to perform, on stage, in front of a live audience. Apart from showcasing their talent, students must meet the challenge of preparing and delivering their part of the programme.”
