Future Leaders Award
The Future Leaders Award is a scheme designed for Year 12 students to recognise and develop key attributes essential for success in life, academia and work. The award encourages students to demonstrate their initiative, responsibility, and ambition by completing four core components.
The first of these is undertaking a sustained weekly student leadership role, for example: peer-mentoring, being on a committee and supporting charity across the school.
Secondly, students participate regularly in extra-curricular enrichment activities that help to develop a health work-life balance. Students also complete a super-curricular contribution to the Academic Journal, which extends their subject knowledge beyond the classroom. Finally, students gain valuable insight through a meaningful work experience placement.
Together, these elements aim to nurture well-rounded, proactive individuals prepared to lead with confidence and integrity in their chosen fields.
