2024 Admissions Policy Consultation

The Governing Body of President Kennedy School are consulting on proposed changes to their admissions arrangements for 2024.

The proposed changes will take effect from the beginning of the academic year 2024. There are no changes proposed to either the published admission number or oversubscription criteria of the school. The following changes are proposed:

· Refinement of opening paragraphs explaining the principles and process for student admissions, including removal of the admissions timetable as this is referenced on both the school and local authority websites (paragraphs 1 to 5).

· Explanation of general requirement for entry into the school’s sixth form (paragraph 25).

· Updated dates relating to the Post 16 application process and deadlines for internal and external applicants (paragraph 27).

· Sign-posting for Definitions used in Post 16 oversubscription criteria (paragraph 30).

The consultation will run from Monday 17th October to Friday 2nd December 2022. Anyone wishing to respond to the consultation should contact the school in writing to:
