SSAT Accreditation for our Transforming Teaching Practice
President Kennedy School has achieved accreditation for transforming practice under SSAT's Framework for Exceptional Education. This means that President Kennedy School met the highest standards of the SSAT Framework for Exceptional Education and that our teaching and learning practice has been judged to be amongst the most effective approaches nationally.
To achieve an accreditation as transforming in practice, many aspects of teaching and learning at President Kennedy School were reviewed by another high-performing school and an independent moderator from SSAT. Aspects reviewed included The Bridge, student progress, how the school reviews and improves its practice and our highly progressive approach to developing teachers as professionals. SSAT's Chief Executive, Sue Williamson said "for a school to be accredited for transforming practice is a real credit to their team and the quality of the work that they are doing."
Naturally, we are all very proud to have been awarded the accreditation by the SSAT and are looking forward to attending an Education Outcomes Event to collect our certificate later this year.
