Year 7 Students Celebrate World Book Day at The Houses of Parliament

A group of Year 7 students were lucky enough to meet MPs Richard Burgon, Sharon Hodgson, Tracey Brabin as well as, Reverend Rose Hudson-Wilkin, the author Chris Waterman and Georgina Newton at Westminster last week.
Our students also enjoyed a tour of the Houses of Parliament and were the centre of attention dressed up as their favourite book character (even Mrs Elliott was dressed up as Snow White!).
Students subsequently spoke to an audience about their favourite book. All our students were very inquisitive throughout the day and benefitted tremendously. We would like to thank our contacts at Warwick University for making this fantastic experience possible. The Bridge Team
