New School Build Update
I am very pleased to report that the new school build is developing at pace and that we remain on target to take possession of the building immediately after the Easter break in 2017. We continue to work with our colleagues from Carillion on final internal designs to ensure things are exactly as we want them. I have no doubt that the building will be a fantastic addition to our local community and one which will allow us to continue to support our children to the very best of our abilities. Exciting times!
In order to prepare fully for the move, school governors have approved that Tuesday 19th July and Wednesday 20 July will be additional teacher training days and, therefore, I would be grateful if you could note the following information relating to the end of term arrangements.
These are being organised so that most of the move preparation takes place at a time less likely to harm our students’ education.
By doing this we aim to ensure no disruption to students. This is all about putting the Students First.
The summer break will start from 1.30pm onwards on Monday 18th July 2016.
