Year 8 Embrace New Challenges at Dol Y Moch

Year 8 students spent a fantastic day in the North Wales’ sunshine taking part in many exciting activities including; mountain climbing, gorge walks, abseiling, mountain biking and kayaking.

The purpose of the visit was to introduce our students to new skills including planning, overcoming challenges, problem solving and team building. Students embraced their new experiences throughout the stay and worked brilliantly as part of their teams.

Staff at Dol Y Moch were full of praise for our Year 8 students commenting that they were a ‘...fantastic bunch of young people...’ and ‘...a pleasure to have at Dol Y Moch.
