Year 11 Play Their Last Ever Rugby Game!

The Year 11 Rugby team played their final ever game on Wednesday in the Semi Final of the Coventry Cup against Bablake School.

The first half was a closely fought battle between the 2 teams, with Josh Ryan scoring for President Kennedy School to make the score 12-5 to Bablake at half time.

The second half saw Bablake use the conditions to their advantage and they scored 2 quick tries to take control of the game, however we refused to given in and scored tries through Aron and Matthew, only for Bablake to respond at the other end.

Final Score Bablake School 34 - President Kennedy School 15.

On behalf of myself and Mr Moroney, I would like to thank all the rugby team for all their hard work and effort since year 9, which has seen some memorable performances against Coundon Court and King Henry XIII, 4 pupils representing Coventry Schools, 3 pupils representing Warwickshire, the Gloucester Rugby Tour, and most importantly installing President Kennedy School on the rugby map. The pupils have made outstanding progress in their short rugby careers, and I hope they continue to play Rugby for many more years.
