Post 16 Students Learn Valuable Lessons from Business Leaders

A number of business leaders into school to work with our Year 12 Business and Economics students. We are grateful that these very busy professionals had taken time out of their busy schedules to talk with our students. Our visitors talked about the paths that they had taken from education to where they are today and shared invaluable lessons that they had learnt on the way to success. Students were able to speak to our guests about their own CV’s, how important extra- curricular activities are when putting themselves forward for future opportunities, and how to “stand out” and compete effectively against other candidates.

Our sincere thanks to:

- Diane White, Head of Supply Chain CPL at Brakes
- Gavin Darby, CEO of Premier Foods
- Ian Bowles, Head of Sustainability and External Affairs at Premier Foods
- Louise Spillard, Commercial Director at IGD
