Our Year 7/8 Girls Take New National Home of Football By Storm!

The Year 7/8 girls football team visited the prestigious St Georges Park on Wednesday, the new home of English football. The first part of the visit saw President Kennedy School play in a 5-a-side tournament in which they were comfortable winners, playing 5 games, scoring 21 goals and conceding 0.

The next part of the visit included a tour of the facilities, where the girls got to see the replica Wembley pitch, the fitness suite, the autograph wall and many other excellent facilities.

The highlight of the day for the girls was being able to watch the England Women play a warm up game on the full size indoor pitch, and getting to meet and have their photo taken with the England ladies manager Mark Sampson and Arsenal and England ladies striker Lianne Sanderson. Hopefully the trip will inspire the girls to great things in their football future!
