Open Evening Attracts Record Numbers

On Tuesday evening, President Kennedy School opened its doors to year 6 pupils and their parents and carers for our annual Open Evening. A record number (well over 400) families attended and many remained well after 8pm. Our visitors toured the Bridge, watched sports demonstrations, dance routines and took part in some very absorbing science experiments. In the school hall our visitors were addressed by Mr Thomas and a small number of students.

Feedback from our visitors was overwhelmingly positive. They were particularly complimentary about the professionalism of our staff  and the conduct and enthusiasm of our student helpers, many of whom didn’t leave school until after 8pm.

The winner of the IPad, the prize for the Open Evening Quiz, is a pupil who attends Hill Farm primary school.
