Post 16 Dress Up For Charity

More than 100 Post 16 students from President Kennedy School collected cash for Macmillan Cancer Relief in Coventry city centre. Characters ranging from Jack Sparrow to Barbie in a box treated shoppers and city centre workers to a quirky charity collection. After the collection, the school presented awards to those who had collected the most money and students with the best costumes.

Director of the Post 16 Mr Mort said: “The collection gave students the chance to give something back to the community. People in the city centre interacted with the students and related very much to Macmillan. We had a very good reaction from the public.”

Altogether Post 16 raised an impressive £970.
