Students Selected to Become D of E Ambassadors
As part of a nationwide scheme, we have been able to select four Duke of Edinburgh Ambassadors. President Kennedy students Imogen Legg, Amber Norris, Amelia Bassnett and Mohammed Hejaaji and are currently part of our Gold Award group. They have completed their Bronze and Silver awards and will help the award scheme to continue to thrive within the school as part of their new roles.
The students will undertake a day's training later on in the year, where along with other ambassadors from across the city will look at how they can support the award scheme within their respective schools.
Imogen and Amber had the pleasure of attending the launch meeting at the Meriden headquarters of the Uk's largest recruitment agency, Pertemps who are the sponsor for the Coventry and Warwickshire ambassadors training scheme. They met with dignitaries from Pertemps and the Central England D of E office to receive a cheque from Pertemps; The company have donated almost £5000 to The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award’s Ambassador Fund.
