Building Brighter Futures at Post 16
President Kennedy School staff and students are once again celebrating the A Level grades and Vocational qualifications achieved this academic year. The percentage of students securing the very top grades has increased and the vast majority of students have been able to secure their first choice university; a number of them at Russell Group Universities.
Some examples of individual successes include:
Muhammad Riaz who secured A* grades in Maths and Further Maths, an A in Physics and a B in Chemistry and will progress to Imperial College London to study Physic with theoretical Physics.
Matthew Tilt who achieved A* grades in Maths and Further Maths, a B grade in Physics and will move on to study Maths at Durham University.
Shazmeen Bi who secured 3 Distinction star grades in Business Studies and will progress to The University of Warwick to study Law.
Ruth Asiedu who achieved a grade A in Italian, A in Psychology, B in Biology and C in Chemistry and will study Biomedical materials science at Birmingham University.
Bhupinder Khera who achieved 2 Distinction Star grades in Business Studies and a B grade in Maths will go on to study Maths and economics at Aston University.

“I am very pleased that the students in Post 16 have been able to secure grades which enable them onto pathways to Build Brighter Futures. The grades achieved by students this year are very pleasing, as a result they have been able to secure courses at excellent Universities. We are especially pleased that the vast majority of our students have secured their first choice place at university. They have worked hard during their time at President Kennedy School and deserve their success. We wish them every success in the future”
